MONEE, IL – The new Monee facility acquired by Mi-Jack Products earlier this year is now fully operational and has officially shipped its inaugural unit: a 110-ton Travelift rubber-tired gantry crane.
Since becoming fully operational in June, the 200,000-square-foot Monee facility has begun assembly and shipping operations for Translift and Travelift RTG cranes, while the Hazel Crest, Illinois location continues to focus on welding, fabrication, and painting.

Pat Lynch, the production manager of the facility, shared his thoughts on this milestone: “The Monee facility provides us with the additional space that we need to meet our customer demands. Our customers are requesting bigger cranes every year and this new facility with four 40-ton overhead cranes and several jib cranes and lifting stations helps us be more efficient in the manufacturing process. We are very excited as we look to grow the Mi-Jack business for many years to come.”
The Monee facility was established to expand Mi-Jack’s manufacturing capacity in response to domestic and international demand. To help increase efficiency, this new facility is equipped with two state-of-the-art vertical storage systems from Modula Lift.
These fully automated storage systems streamline inventory by giving assembly teams rapid access to critical parts, resulting in increased productivity.
“Shipping out our first Travelift from Monee is a massive milestone for our team,” said Mike Lanigan Jr., Vice President of Sales at Mi-Jack. “With the facility fully operational, we now have the enhanced production capabilities needed to meet increasing domestic and international demand.”
